Ruste deconstructed the already existing stitchwork in these Levis so that none of the alterations are visible from the outside. They even unstitched and reattaching the leather hip tag with the exact same color thread. It's nearly impossible to figure out what was and wasn't touched in the original garment. No visible stitch lines in the hips or knees from the added armor pockets. From the outside they just...look like Levis.

The quality of the workmanship is extremely high, the jacket looking and feeling like it was lined at manufacture and not retro-fitted. The idea is phenomenal. When driving in the city I usually just wear regular jeans and a leather jacket. It's just not possible to ride in the 1-piece suit in Stockholm’s summer weather. Also it limits the fun of having a bike as means of transportation, you don't want to grab an ice cream or have a short stroll with friends when looking and feeling like a sweaty gimp. And riding in jeans is stressful - I don't feel safe, I don't feel smart and cold winds hitting the knees is sure to cause problems later in life. I’m happy with the tailoring which was done very well. Jeans didn’t really get that much smaller as I thought beforehand. I guess the reason is that the jeans had 2% of elastane and they were 2 sizes bigger than I would normally wear. The fabrics used in the tailoring are unbelievably elastic and soft. Jeans also protect from wind well, but on breaks I get a bit warm - like with all motorcycle pants.
